In a shocking and tragic turn of events, Bernie Mac died that wee hours (August 9th) in the midst of his recent hospitalization.  He was 50 years old.

His publicist Danica Smith announced, “Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away that from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital.”

There has been widespread speculation about an affair amoung former Senator John Edwards and 44-year-old Rielle Hunter as of late.  And now the former Democratic Presidential Candidate has come out and confirmed that he is guilty.

In a statement released to press, Edwards describes the affair, which took place in 2006, as a serious error in judgment, and says that he’s deeply ashamed of his conduct.
