Brightening up the streets of the Big Apple, Irina Shayk was all smiles as she visited FOX studios in Manhattan on Friday (June 10).

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl showed off her blessed body in a little red dress as she headed inside to sit down and chat with the hosts of “Good Day New York”.

As for the topic of conversation, Miss Shayk spoke about having been honored the previous evening by the Russian American Foundation.

Irina plus delved into discussing her charity work with pomogi.org (Pomogi means “Help” in Russian) - which “focuses on target-oriented programs, aimed at raising funds and collecting donations to be provided for those in need.”

Starting off the summer blockbuster season with a little thrill, the highly-anticipated mystery flick “Super 8″ is out in theaters today (June 10).

Directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg, the nostalgic sci-fi thriller has earned rave reviews ahead of that today’s release period.

The youthful cast of the science fiction film is made up of Elle Fanning, AJ Michalka and newcomer Kyle Chandler.

The synopsis of the picture via IMDB tells: “After witnessing a mysterious train crash, a group of friends in the summer of 1979 start noticing strange happenings going around in their small town, and start to investigate into the creepy phenomenon.”

They have always been extremely generous with their fortune, and it was recently announced that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donated $500,000 to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.

The “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-stars’ contribution supports mid-term and long-term rebuilding efforts in the Joplin, MO area, which was recently devastated by a number of tornadoes and a familiar place to Pitt.

“With the devastating loss of thirty percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead,” Brad told local news station KSPR. “Having spent much of my childhood there, I know these folks to be hardworking, humble and particularly resilient.”
