The “True Blood” costars/ real life spouses were joined by Moyer’s daughter Lilac as they tooled around the neighborhood, stopping off to get some ice cream along the way.

In career news, Anna and Stephen will be taking their HBO hit series from TV to the silver screen in a feature film adaptation.

Unable to celebrate his special day per the usual, Lil’ Wayne is ringing in his 28th birthday behind bars at Rikers Island.

With 39 days left on his year-long sentence, the hip hop star’s father Birdman chatted with MTV about his son’s current situation.

“It ain’t kicked in,” Birdman said. “My family, I like to do things for him for his birthday, you take in me? that the first date we not gonna get a chance to do that. But he is putting a new album out called I Am Not a Human Being. We pop bottles for him while he’s gone.”

Of Wayne’s new material - his album hits stores October 12 - Birdman continued, “When Wayne do what he do, he takes serious pride in his work. Nothing we do is half-stepping or half-cocked. I think it’s a great album. To me, he’s switching back. that album has no Vocoder; he’s back to raw rap. He’s just rapping how he’s feeling. He’s a genius, so the music is always gonna be great. He wanted to put I Am Not a Human Being out to show folks he’s always in the building. Every album we put out, we’re going to do the most. We’re gonna go for it. We’re never gonna come half- cocked. You expect to see a lot, you gonna get a lot. It’s a great album.”

Continuing to praise his boy, Birdman finished by saying, “That’s my son. I love him. You always gonna miss a loved one. At the same date, we doing what we have to do. Work hard. We all excited he’s about to come home. He’s happy. He wanna get out that place. That ain’t no place for him to be. Everybody is energized that he’s coming home. He walked the little walk. That was a left turn in our life. We wasn’t expecting nothing like that.”

Given her recent snub from “Sesame Street,” Katy Perry is looking to redeem herself on another high-profile television program.

The “Hot N Cold” songstress will seem on “The Simpsons” coming up on December 5th and she won’t be worrying about her low-cut wardrobe.

Perry’s episode will be a special Christmas-themed, puppet show called “The Fight Before Christmas,” in which she will play barkeep Moe Syslak’s girlfriend.
